Two men arrested in Shreveport after brief drug investigation

Agents with the Caddo-Shreveport Narcotics Unit have arrested two men and seized marijuana valued at $14,000 during a brief investigation in the 5600 block of Carl Terrace.

During the investigation, 26-year-old Derekus Young and 38-year-old Rodrick Hossa were found in the yard of the home. One of them attempted to flee on a bicycle, but was quickly caught.

Agents seized 1,400 grams of pot and some scales. They also found more than $1,000 cash.

Young and Hossa were both booked into the Shreveport City Jail for possessing marijuana with intent to distribute.
