Train Causes Major Traffic Jam in Bossier City
A train stalled traffic for several hours during the morning rush in Bossier City. At one time, traffic was backed up all the way from Benton Road to I-220.
The train was stopped along Benton Road at Texas Street and Shed Road with no way for motorists to get around it.
I was stuck in the traffic nightmare in the KEEL News van on Shed Road at Field Street just off Benton Road for at least an hour as the train sat idle.
As of 9:30, I was still stalled.
I chickened out and decided to turn around like most of the trapped motorists and go back like I came.
God help the lady in front of me. She just wouldn't give up hope the morning train to nowhere would actually start moving again.
