Top 10 Pet Friendly Restaurants in Shreveport Bossier

My grand puppy, Beau has taken a liking to me. He's big. He weighs in at close to 100 pounds, but he thinks he's a Yorkie. He loves to climb on my lap and snuggle.

We have become so close, that I'm thinking about venturing out with him to some local restaurants. But he's not the greatest social animal. During our visits to the dog park, he gets a little nasty if dogs start sniffing him (where he doesn't like to be sniffed). But I think socialization can be good for pets.

With the help of some pet loving friends, we put together this list of the top 10 pet friendly restaurants in Shreveport Bossier.

1. Marilynn's Place

One of my favorite spots for Sunday brunch is Marilyn's Place. The patio area is always packed and often you can find several dogs enjoying a few hours out with the family.

2. Bistro Byronz

You will actually find ten dog friendly tables at this Line Avenue eatery. You can enjoy a signature sandwiches while your pup hangs out with some buddies.

3. Monjuni's

This is one of my favorite spots for good Italian food. I've never eaten on the patio at the Louisiana Avenue location, but my dog loving friends say the pups love it on the Monjuni's patio.

4. BeauxJax Craft House

This popular spot in the East Bank District in Bossier has several tables on the patio that can accommodate your K9 pal. You can grab a great po-boy and your pup can make some new friends.

5. Another Broken Egg

This is another great spot for brunch. You can get a very healthy meal while dining on the patio at popular spot at the corner of Line and Pierremont. I always run into someone I know while dining in this place.

6. Pizza Rev

This is a pizza spot on steroids. You can get pizzas in all sorts of varieties. You can aslo bring your family pet with you to dine at one of the outdoor tables. In fact, your pup will love trying a bite of the crust of these pizzas.

7. Roma Italian Bistro

This Mansfield Road restaurant boasts some of the best Italian dishes in town and it also is quite accommodating to pet owners. The business has four dog friendly tables so Fido can join you for lunch or dinner.

8. Cantina Laredo

This Mexican dining spot has seven outdoor tables where your pet is always welcome. You will even find heaters outside in case the night gets a little chilly.

9. Bodacious Bar-B-Q

This Bossier City spot is a dog-friendly restaurant serving smoked meats. They have three outdoor tables to make sure you are comfortable bringing your pet out to dine with you.

10. Rotolo's

This pizza spot on East 70th has 9 dog friendly tables. You will have no trouble finding some buddies for your pup to check out. Lots of folks bring pets to Rotolo's to enjoy a night of dining with the family.
