An undercover operation conducted by the Caddo-Shreveport Narcotics Task force nets three arrests and the seizure of thousands in drugs, plus guns and cash.

Agents executed a search warrant at a home in the 4100 block of Lamar Street in west Shreveport on December 13. There, they located the following items:

17 dosage units of Hydrocodone (potent pain reliever)
91 dosage units of Clonazepam (used to treat seizures and panic disorder)
643 dosage units of Tramadol (potent pain reliever)
10 dosage units of Suboxone (used to treat narcotic addiction)
1 dosage unit of Buprenorphine (opioid medication used to treat opioid addiction)
9 dosage units of Acetaminophen with Codeine (opioid pain medication)
6 loaded handguns
2 shotguns
Over $102,000 in cash

Three arrests were made during the operation:

  • 55-year-old David Ashley - possession with intent to distribute Tramadol, Clonazepam; possession of a firearm with a controlled dangerous substance
  • 25-year-old Courtney Caldwell - possession with intent to distribute marijuana; possessing a stolen firearm; possessing a firearm with a CDS
  • 65-year-old Johnell Singleton - possession of a firearm by a convicted felon

The three were booked into Caddo Correctional Center. Police say the street value of all the narcotics seized is around $12,000. Two of the handguns seized had been reported stolen - one from Bossier City and the other from a residence in Shreveport.
