I don't consider myself fancy, but I do like to eat sushi that way.  I don't know what it is about sticky rice and various (and sometimes exciting in an exotic kind of way) generally wrapped in nori that makes me feel like minding my manners and treating the experience with a strange sort of respect - but I like it.  I especially like eating good sushi with chopsticks, soy sauce, wasabi, and sake.

If you're like me, and you like to get a little extra when it comes to sushi night, get ready to add a brand new sake option to the menu.  Fox 8 Live is reporting that as of February the 8th, Wetlands Sake is officially open for business.  That business, by the way, is turning our famous Louisiana rice into delicious Bayou State rice wine.

That's right, the same ingredient that has been crucial to making our beloved gumbo, jambalaya, and more could now be providing that perfect kick in the form of a choko-full of rice wine.  All we need now are some extra-hot boiled crawfish rolls and boudin egg-rolls (hats off to On The Geaux Catering for that little beauty) to make this Louisiana/Japanese feast perfect!
