Believe it or not, but, Thanksgiving is next week. Where did this year go? You might be getting ready to prepare that holiday spread for your family gathering. Or maybe you just have to bring a dish to your get-together this year. What's the favorite Thanksgiving side dish in your family?

What Are the Favorite Items on the Thanksgiving Table

We all know most families will typically celebrate with a turkey, but the meal is really more about all the amazing side dishes. Allrecipes has gathered the data to determine what side dishes are the most popular in every state.

If there is one thing I love seeing on that Thanksgiving table, it’s oyster dressing. It’s stuffing made from hard bread crumbs (start out with croutons). It includes oysters and lots of butter. You also use the traditional veggies like onions, garlic and celery. My brother, Mike makes the most spectacular oyster dressing. I’m not a cornbread dressing fan. But lots of folks in Louisiana love cornbread dressing.
