OBERLIN, La. (AP) — Louisiana authorities say a teenager has been jailed in connection with fights that broke out at a high school prom after-party. The American Press reports that 19-year-old Collin Blake Kershaw has been charged with aggravated second-degree battery. A judge set his bail at $80,000 on Monday. The Allen Parish sheriff says the fights erupted and shots were fired by several suspects amongst a crowd at a private residence near Kinder early Sunday. The sheriff says the gathering was an “after-prom party” that wasn't affiliated with Kinder High School. The official didn't describe the specific incident Kershaw was allegedly involved in. It's unclear whether he has an attorney who can comment.
