The driver of a vehicle that struck a pedestrian last night in southeast Shreveport has been arrested for operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated.

A Shreveport man is in jail tonight after leaving the scene of a crash in which he slammed his vehicle into a speed limit sign, numerous construction barrels and an impact attenuator that was on the back of a crash truck.

A man who had numerous DWIs already has been jailed for another one.
