A major component of this weekend's Defenders of Liberty Barksdale Air Show will be the flying demonstrations. Some of the aerobatic pilots who'll be flying in the show met with reporters this morning at the Downtown Airport.

It's springtime in the Ark-La-Tex and that means that it's time again for the big Barksdale "Defenders of Liberty" air show.

With the Air Show going on at Barksdale Air Force Base this weekend, there will also be some traffic rerouting. When the gates to Barksdale open at 9 a.m. Saturday and Sunday, traffic entering the base will run its normal route.
