Shreveport police are on the hunt for a man wanted in connection with an armed robbery in west Shreveport.

On January 13, 2015, patrol officers were called to a home in the 6800 block of W. 70th Street to a report of an assault and battery. When they arrived, they found out the victim was approached from behind and hit with a bat, causing a cut to his face. The suspect took the man's personal belongings and ran off.

Police say a possible suspect was caught on video later that day attempting to cash a check from the victim's wallet. The video has been released in the hope that someone will come forward with information that leads to the suspect's identity.

Call Crime Stoppers at 673-7373 if you can help. The agency is offering a reward up to $500 if an arrest is made.
