Traffic Stop Leads to Three Felony Arrests in West Shreveport

Patrol officers with the Shreveport Police Department arrested three men Tuesday afternoon following a routine traffic stop near the intersection of Jefferson Paige Road and Greenwood Road.

The incident occured on August 4 at approximately 4:15 p.m. when officers initiated a stop on a vehicle for traffic violations, which quickly escalated into a narcotics and weapons investigation.

Firearms and Illicit Drugs Discovered in Vehicle

During the interaction, officers uncovered illegal narcotics alongside firearms inside the vehicle. The discovery led officers to take all three occupants into custody at the scene without further incident.

Suspects Face Multiple Weapons and Drug Charges

The three men arrested face various charges stemming from the search:

Ervin/SPD

• Noah Ervin (Driver): Charged with distribution of narcotics and illegal carrying of a weapon while in possession of a controlled dangerous substance. He was also issued traffic citations for a defective taillight and failure to signal.

Jackson/SPD

• Caleb Jackson: Charged with distribution of narcotics and illegal carrying of a weapon while in possession of a controlled dangerous substance.

Guy/SPD

• Landon Guy: Charged with one count of distribution of narcotics.

All three individuals were processed following the stop as police continue to emphasize proactive patrol efforts to curb illegal firearms and drugs in the community.
