Suspect Arrested in Connection with Break-in at Barbara Norton’s Office
Shreveport police detectives have arrested a suspect in the break-in and vandalism of State Representative Barbara Norton's office building.
59-year-old Cary Baylor of Shreveport is charged with entering and remaining and unauthorized entry of a place of business. Bond is set at $100,000.
Norton's office in the 3200 block of Hollywood Avenue was burglarized some time Sunday, but she says this wasn't the first time it had happened.
Detectives are still trying to figure out a motive for the break-in. Norton's office in Mooretown will remain closed until Monday.
