Strong Storms Roar Through Shreveport Bossier
Severe thunderstorm warning has been cancelled. But our region is included in a thunderstom watch for this morning.
A severe thunderstorm warning is in effect until at least 4:15 this morning for much of the Arklatex.
This warning includes Webster, Southwest Caddo, Claiborne, Bienville, Bossier and West Lincoln Parishes in Northwest Louisiana.
The storms extend from near Plain Dealing to near Benton to Shreveport and Greenwood. These storms are moving quickly at about 45 mph. The storms are bringing 60 mph winds, and penny size hail. This storm could cause some damage to roofs, siding and trees.
Locations impacted by this storm include. Shreveport, Bossier City, Minden, Grambling, Homer, Haughton, Greenwood, Arcadia, Benton, Ringgold, Sibley, Plain Dealing, Cotton Valley, Sarepta, Doyline, Dixie Inn, Dubberly, Heflin and Eastwood.
More storms are expected to pop up as this system moves through this morning.
