The newly-appointed State Education Superintendent pays Bossier City a visit this week.  Cope Middle School rolls out the welcome mat for John White at 9:30 Friday morning. This will be his first visit to the area since being elected by the Louisiana Board of Elementary and Secondary Education earlier this month. Before that, he was the state's Recovery School District superintendent. White chose to visit Cope because of its accountability and reform initiatives. He'll visit classrooms at the school and be accompanied by Bossier Parish School Superintendent D.C. Machen and Cope Principal Judy Grooms.
