Sign Up Saturday is coming back around this weekend. It's a free youth sports, health and wellness expo.

There are lots of activities for families to participate in, like all sorts of sports -- from bowling to football -- relays, jump ropes, hula hoops, face painting, and more. You can take a turn on the Xbox Kinect, get the kids signed up for Bossier Parks and Recreation football, soccer and basketball leagues, and get free vision, hearing and fitness screenings.

This is also a great opportunity to get information on -- or sign your children up for -- dance lessons, gymnastics, cheerleading, basketball camp, karate, Tae Kwon Do, swim lessons, fitness classes, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts and YMCA activities.

Safety information will be provided by the Bossier City Fire Prevention Smoke House, Bossier Parish Sheriff's Office, Louisiana State Police and ThinkFirst. Info on pediatric dentists and health and nutrition will also be available. And the Willis Knighton Shots for Tots van will be there giving free immunizations.

One of the most popular activities at last year's event was the Body Walk, an enclosed walk-through exhibit representing the human body. That will be back this time, as well.

Everything's going on Saturday, July 20th, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the Bossier Civic Center.
