Shreveport’s First Pop-Up Businesses Announced

They range from home decor and clothing to Louisiana products, fine art, hand-made jewelry and 3D printing, as well as several restaurants.

They are the dozen businesses chosen from more than 30 proposals to be the first pop-up businesses in the Red River District.

The pop-up businesses will have a soft opening the evening of Thursday, May 8, and then be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily from May 12 through May 23.  DDA Director Liz Swaine says some of the Pop-Up restaurants will open even earlier each day to serve breakfast.

Swaine says the reason several restaurants are included in the first group of Pop-Ups is the availability of Cohab's commercial kitchen.
