The clean up has started in the Red River district downtown. The city is now in control of the complex and the first step is to clean things up to get ready to bring in new tenants.

Landscaping crews have been working alongside the power washers and the city workers who are hauling off trash from the area. Only two businesses are still open in the district, but the city hopes to change that soon. The goal is to bring in businesses with a more regional flare, rather than national restaurant chains.
