Shreveport Woman Arrested After Shooting at Cars and a Dog

SHREVEPORT, LA. Shreveport Woman Arrested Following Shooting Incident

On November 10, 2024, just before 11:00 AM, Shreveport Police Department officers responded to a shots-fired call in the 2700 block of Ashton Street. Upon arrival, officers were informed that a woman had fired multiple rounds at a passing vehicle as well as at a dog in the vicinity.

SPD officers quickly located and apprehended Tracey Mourning, a 33-year-old female, without incident. Mourning has been charged with one count of Aggravated Assault with a Firearm. Fortunately, no injuries were reported in connection with this incident.

The Shreveport Police Department remains vigilant in responding to incidents involving firearms to ensure community safety.
