
Shreveport Police Arrest Man Following Reckless Shooting
The Shreveport Police Department mad an arrest after a shooting that happened on Tuesday afternoon.
Police were called to Mansfield Road near Kingston Road to reports of a shooting. When SPD showed up, they were met with a car full of people who claimed the car that they were driving in was hit by gunfire. One person in the car was grazed by a bullet and was treated on scene by Shreveport Fire Department.
SPD quickly began investigations, and Police were able to identify 19 year-old Tramel Johnson as the suspected shooter. Investigators were able to determine that Johnson was recklessly firing the gun, when one bullet hit the victim's car.
Johnson was arrested and charged with one count of Aggravated Battery with a Dangerous Weapon and two counts of Aggravated Criminal Damage to Property.
