Shreveport Man Arrested on Drug and Weapon Charges
A traffic stop early this morning leads Caddo Parish deputies to a large number of illegal pills and marijuana.
Deputies say 34-year-old Bryan Rasco was driving in the 3900 block of Roy Road, when he was stopped for a speeding violation. Deputy Chris Menard smelled what he believed to be a strong odor of burnt marijuana coming from the car.
During a search of the vehicle, deputies found 48 grams of suspected marijuana, a marijuana cigarette, 15 Xanax quad bar pills, 16 broken Xanax quad bar pills, 31 Ecstasy pills and a stolen .40 caliber handgun.
Rasco was booked into Caddo Correctional Center for possessing drugs with intent to distribute, being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm, and speeding.
