Shreveport Police Make Gun and Drug Arrests Following Pursuit

On December 13, 2024, at approximately 5:33 AM, Shreveport Police Department (SPD) officers attempted to conduct a traffic stop near Jefferson Paige Road and Interstate 220 East. The vehicle refused to stop, leading officers on a pursuit that ended when the fleeing vehicle crashed at 1505 Grimmett Drive.

Following the crash, officers apprehended two male suspects. The driver, identified as Jackie Cole, was arrested and charged with the following:

· Aggravated flight from an officer

· Possession of narcotics

· Felon in possession of a firearm

· Possession of a firearm with an obliterated serial number

· Simple criminal property damage

· Multiple traffic offenses

The passenger, identified as Archie Moore, was arrested and charged with:

· Felon in possession of a firearm

· Possession of a firearm with an obliterated serial number

The driver was transported to a local hospital for treatment of injuries sustained in the crash.
