Shreveport Man Arrested for Attempted Murder

A Shreveport man faces an attempted murder charge. 29-year-old Jacques Bridges is accused of running his ex-girlfriend's car off the road on Highway 173 and then fleeing after her car flipped over.

Phaedra Holloway was taken to LSU Health for treatment of what were described as moderate injuries. Bridges was located several hours later and booked into Caddo Correctional Center on a charge of hit and run.  After further investigation, detectives added the attempted second-degree murder charge.
