Shreveport K9 "Enzo" Gets Another

On April 21st, 2023, around 10:30 p.m. Shreveport Police Community Response Unit Members conducted a traffic stop in the 200 block of Clyde Fant Memorial Parkway. During the traffic stop, officers detained a female who used a false name and fled on foot.

Responding officers gave chase into a wooded area. Shreveport Police K-9 “Enzo” was called to the scene to search for the suspect.

After several minutes of searching, K9 Enzo located white female Bridgette Wood (12-4-85), hiding in a wooded area by the river.

Wood was arrested for one count of simple escape, and one count of resisting and was found to have an outstanding warrant for possession of schedule two narcotics. Wood was treated for minor injuries and transported to a local area hospital.

Due to the laws issued in reference to mugshot releases in the state of Louisiana, we are not permitted to release the offender’s photo.
