Shreveport Police Find Man With Warrant Hiding in a Freezer
A man with an outstanding warrant loses a game of hide-and-seek with Shreveport Police.
Marvin Morris had a warrant out for his arrest for being a felon in possession of a firearm stemming from an incident on Peach Street earlier this month.
Police pulled up on Westwood Street to execute the warrant against Morris, but the "Jump Out Boys" were having trouble finding him. After searching for a while, an Officer, on a whim, decided to open the deep freezer.
Sure enough Morris was found shivering in the deep freezer and the search was over. Morris was arrested and got to warm up in an SPD cruiser on the way to jail.
From SPD:
"The Shreveport Police Department remains committed to locating and apprehending individuals who pose a threat to public safety."
