Shreveport Gas Prices Go Below $2 Per Gallon Mark

It's official! Gas prices in the Shreveport - Bossier City area are below two dollars a gallon, at least at the Circle K Shell station on Youree Drive at Southfield. The dip to the magic $1.99 price marks a drop of eighteen cents in just the last 24 hours.

As of today every state in the lower 48 has an average per gallon price of below three dollars, with the national per gallon price at $2.54. The average price here in Louisiana in well below that at $2.35.

Missouri currently has the lowest average price at $2.20. And no surprise that of all 50 states, Hawaii remains the highest at $3.67 per gallon.
