Coffee Chain Ready to Open 2nd Louisiana Location in Shreveport

SHREVEPORT, LA - A new national coffee chain could be opening soon in east Shreveport. Local business folks are moving forward with plans to open Scooter's Coffee at a site on East 70th.

Scooter's only has one other location in Louisiana and that's in Lafayette.

What's the Next Step?

There is a Neighborhood Participation Meeting for the rezoning of the property from C-1 to C-3 for the coffee shop.

Residents and business owners will have a chance to learn more about the proposed project as well as ask questions regarding any concerns. No official decisions will happen during this meeting. This is informational only.

The NPP meeting will take place: Wednesday, May 1, 2024 at 6:30pm at the Broadmoor Branch of Shreve Memorial Library on Captain Shreve Drive.

The site of this proposed coffee shop is 2522 East 70^th in Shreveport next to Little Works in Progress Pediatric Therapy.
