
Shreveport Police Arrest Two in Separate Domestic Violence Cases
Shreveport Police have arrested two people in separate, unrelated domestic violence incidents that happened earlier this week.
SPD Officers responded to a domestic disturbance on Elmhurst Street. Officers found Carolyn Green armed with a knife and threatening people in the house. Although family members were able to disarm her, two people were cut during the struggle.
Green was arrested and charged with two counts of Aggravated Battery.
In another incident, SPD arrested Dee Andrew Thomas following a domestic violence investigation.
Thomas now faces the following charges:
• 3 counts of Domestic Abuse Child Endangerment
• 1 count of Domestic Abuse Battery by Strangulation
• 1 count of Violation of a Protective Order
Thomas was also arrested in 2025 for two counts of Domestic Abuse Child Endangerment.

The Shreveport Police Department takes these cases seriously and will continue working to protect victims and hold offenders accountable.
