We found several local spots selling crawfish for under $4 a pound which is the lowest so far this season. I do expect to see the prices to dip below $3 a pound in just a few weeks. I consider Memorial Day the peak of crawfish season and that is typically when you will find the best prices. But you can find great deals right now.

How Much Are Live Crawfish in Shreveport?

Several spots have dropped the prices for live crawfish to $2.49 a pound. Many others are selling them for $2.99 a pound. You do have to buy live crawfish by the sack which is usually a 30 pound sack. But if it's a crawfish boil you want to have, this is the way to go. Grab a couple of sacks and get some sausage and potatoes and all the other fixin's and you'll be good to go.
