52-year-old Robert Scogin and his 55-year-old wife, Peggy, have pled guilty in Shreveport Federal Court to importing nine-thousand pills illegally into the United States.

They've admitted to bringing Codeine and Dihydrocodeine back aboard a cruise ship. They've also admitted that they purchased the meds in Belize then smuggled them aboard the cruise ship by wrapping them in dirty clothes and hiding them in their luggage. They've told investigators they intended to use some of the pills themselves and sell some of them to others.

When they're sentenced in January, they face up to 20 years in prison, a-million dollar fine, and five years of supervised release.
