Violence in Shreveport over the weekend claims the life of a teenager. But that was not the only violent episode from the weekend.

A 15-year-old boy was walking in Queensborough with some friends at about 1A.M. Sunday morning when a silver car pulled up and someone in that car got out and opened fire. This happened on Portland. The car sped away. The victim was rushed to the hospital but was pronounced dead. He has been identified as Antonio Roberson of Shreveport.

There was another shooting early Sunday morning south of the city. A man tells police he was driving from DeSoto Parish into Shreveport at about 1am Sunday morning when someone fired shots at his pickup truck. He managed to pull over at the gas pumps at the Kroger on Ellerbe Road where police and EMS crews responded. He was rushed to Ochsner LSU Health where he is recovering. The search for the suspect continues.

There was also a shooting early Monday morning in Mooretown. It happened on Rufus just after 1am. Few details have been released about this incident.
