School Superintendents Talk State of Education, Teachers

Dr. Lamar Goree from Caddo Parish, Dr. Cade Brumley from DeSoto and Bossier Parish's Scott Smith join 101.7 / 710 KEEL's Robert J Wright and Erin McCarty. In Part I the four school chiefs tell KEEL listeners about the state of education in their respective districts, including a discussion of the recently released state scores for their parishes.

In Part II, Goree, Brumley and Smith discuss the always changing school calendar, teachers' pay and benefits in each school district and the growing teacher shortage, not only in Louisiana, but across the country.
