The New Orleans Saints paid special tribute to their 2009 season Super Bowl Champions with a dinner and festivities celebrating the tenth anniversary of their historic 31 - 17 win over Indianapolis.

Current day Saints - including Coach Sean Payton and quarterback Drew Brees, both members of that championship team - were among those honoring the winners of Super Bowl XLIV with heartfelt and emotional salutes. "It was one of the most amazing experiences that I could ever be part of," said Brees to his '09 mates. "Being part of that journey...based on the type of team we had, the type of locker room we had...how we played and sacrificed for one another.

But it was Saints General Manager Mickey Loomis who stole the show, commenting on how the Saints win not only changed the culture of the team, but the culture of the town. "Your legacy is that you changed the narrative of the New Orleans Saints," said the longtime GM, " as one of the best organizations in pro sports,"
