Rash of Armed Robberies – Suspects Are Caught
It has been a busy day for Shreveport police. They have responded to several armed robberies at businesses in several parts of the city early today.
Circle K in the 400 block of Kings Highway was robbed just after midnight. But this was only the start to this citywide crime spree.
The Circle K in the 5800 Line Avenue was held up at about 1am and just a few minutes later the suspects held up the Circle K at Pines and Buncombe Road.
The Circle K on Shreveport Barksdale Highway was robbed in the 4am hour this morning. The suspect pulled a gun on the clerk and demanded cigarettes and cash.
An Exxon gas station/convenience store was also robbed by the suspects believed to be a man and a woman.
More than 20 Shreveport officers and Caddo deputies were called to an area on Linwood at West 70th early this morning where they were able to catch a man and woman accused of going on the late night crime spree.
The suspects tried to make a run for it, but they were quickly caught.
This pair might also be suspected of another armed robbery that happened last night.
