Opening Date Set for New Shreveport Grocery Store
Residents of southeast Shreveport will soon have another option for getting groceries. Workers are putting the finishing touches on the new Brookshire's at the corner of Southern Loop and Norris Ferry Road.
This will be a high end Brookshire’s with a 56,000 square-foot store which will include retail sales of beer and wine, a fuel station and a drive-thru pharmacy window. There will also be commercial space for other businesses at the complex. Construction at this new store has been going on for several months.
How Many Workers Will Be Hired for New Brookshire's?
The staff of the store is being put together, but they are still looking for more workers. At least 200 staffers are expected to be hired to work at this new Brookshire's.
Brookshire's is also hiring employees dedicated to personal shopping for those who want to shop online and pick up their groceries at a specified time. You can click here to see the jobs and apply online.
