New Grocery Store Opens in North Bossier on Friday
North Bossier City residents will soon have a new option for groceries. In fact, a brand new Brookshire's Grocery store will hold a soft opening at 5pm on Thursday with a ribbon cutting and official opening at 9am on Friday morning.
This new grocery store will offer everything from a market deli, a flower shop, fresh sushi and bakery along with a CiCi's Coffee and Pizza Hut restaurant.
This new store is located at the intersection of Airline Drive and Wemple Road.
Brookshire's Vice President Leo Stevenson says "This is going to be a prototype like we've never had before. I think it's going to be a grocery store that Shreveport-Bossier hasn't seen before."
This is a 56,000 square-foot grocery which will also sell fresh seafood and a full service meat department. The store will also offer a wide selection of beer and wine. This Brookshire's will also have dedicated employees to handle shopping for online shoppers who want to pick up groceries curbside.
This Brookshire's will also offer a drive-thru pharmacy and a gas station.
The ribbon cutting on Friday morning will feature the huge Brookshire's 13 foot tall "Big Grocery Cart" and the public is invited to attend the event.
