Bossier Parish Processes Serious Charges During Halloween Weekend Festivities
Halloween fell on a Saturday this year. That might have led to an increase in adults participating in Halloween events and parties, which may have led to some extra work for Bossier Parish law enforcement this past weekend. There hasn't been a Saturday Halloween since 2020, and that celebration was limited by the pandemic. There won't be another Saturday Halloween until 2037, so many adults may have wanted to participate this year.
The Bossier Parish Sheriff Office processed multiple offenders into the maximum security facility between October 30th, 2026, and November 1st, 2026. The timeframe that covers the Halloween weekend.
Holiday Celebrations May Have Led To Charges
While we cannot draw a direct line between Halloween celebrations and these arrests, its believable that increased attendance at weekend celebrations across Bossier City correlated with numerous felony bookings. Law enforcement officials documented serious charges including multiple DWI violations, and domestic violence incidents during the holiday timeframe.
Suspects facing minor misdemeanor charges, or missed court appearances, are excluded from the data we're looking at...since those arrests would have nothing to do with the holiday weekend.
Highlighting New Violations Over Preexisting Warrants
This reporting prioritizes individuals facing new criminal charges from the weekend, rather than suspects booked on preexisting warrants. While numerous offenders were processed for prior violations...this compilation isolates active incidents tied directly to the holiday period. Basically, if someone was pulled over and they were taken in for outstanding warrants, we didn't count them here.
A comprehensive list, featuring the primary booking photos, can be found below. Every individual identified within these records maintains the presumption of innocence until convicted by a court of law.
