National Guardsman Sgt. Kevin Weiner Funeral Arrangement Set

Our prayers go out to the family of a local National Guardsman killed in a traffic accident on I-49.

The funeral for a local soldier,  killed in a wreck on I-49 is set for Saturday at 1 at Central Assemblies of God on Highway 80 in Haughton (across from Hill Crest). Visitation for 30-year old Sgt. Kevin Weiner is tomorrow from 5 until 7 at Hill Crest. Weiner will be buried with full military honors.  Sgt. Weiner leaves behind a three young boys. He had been in South Louisiana with his National Guard Unit helping with Hurricane Isaac relief efforts. He was on the way home when his Humvee was hit by an 18 wheeler.
