Narcotics Agents Arrest Shreveport Man and Seize Marijuana and Handgun
On the day before its tenth anniversary, the Caddo-Shreveport Narcotics Unit has scored another drug bust and made another arrest.
After receiving citizen complaints of alleged illegal drug activity at a house in the 2200 block of Morningside Drive, agents executed a search warrant at that location and at another house in the same block.
At the first house, agents seized 112 grams of marijuana and a .40 caliber Smith & Wesson semi-automatic handgun. They also arrested 24-year-old Terrell Pennywell on charges of possessing marijuana with intent to distribute and possessing a firearm with a controlled dangerous substance.
At the second house, agents seized another 1550 grams of marijuana and some electronic scales. Agents say they expect further arrests in connection with this case.
