Meet The Stars From ‘My Name Is Earl’ In Downtown Shreveport

Shreveport's premier comic con, Geek'd Con, is set to return to the Shreveport Convention Center for its landmark 10th anniversary. The annual event is scheduled to take place from Friday, August 22nd, through Sunday, August 24th, 2025.

For a decade now, Geek'd Con has been a major draw for fans across the Ark-La-Tex, the whole state of Louisiana, and beyond. These fans gather to celebrate geeky, pop culture, and celebrity culture, and of course to shop from a massive vendor marketplace in Downtown Shreveport.

What Are The Main Attractions at Geek'd Con?

In addition to the massive vendor floor, sponsored by Shreveport Regional Airport, you will see Q&A panels with celebrity guests, play in the LEGO lab brought to you by Bricks 4 Kids, and enjoy all of the cosplay over the weekend. Including the Cosplay Contest on Sunday, sponsored by The Sand Bar.

The biggest draw for fans is the celebrity lineup. Which features a ton of awesome stars that fans get to meet throughout the weekend. This year's Geek'd Con has some "reunion" and "anniversary" events with stars. Like the 35th Anniversary Shell-a-Bration with actors who portrayed the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles in the original 1990 movie. There's also a cast reunion of stars from the TV show Charmed.

Two Stars From 'My Name Is Earl' Are Coming to Shreveport

There's also another huge reunion, with the two lead stars from the hit TV show My Name is Earl.

Jason Lee, who played the titular character Earl in the show will be appearing at Geek'd Con. He will be joined by actor Ethan Suplee, who played Earl's brother Randy in the show. These two will be signing autographs and taking pictures with fans.
