In an hour long, state-of-the-city interview, Shreveport Mayor Ollie Tyler covered a myriad of topics with 101.7 / 710 KEEL's Robert J Wright and Erin McCarty. Among them, whether the Mayor will seek a second term and the $58 million spent to improve the city's infrastructure.

In the second segment of her exclusive interview with Robert and Erin, Mayor Tyler discusses Shreveport's violent crime, specifically if it is on the rise, and her relationship with, and confidence in, Shreveport Police Chief Alan Crump.

In this segment, Mayor Tyler gives her opinion on the issue of the Confederate monument, located downtown on the Caddo courthouse grounds. She also updates KEEL listeners on the status of the new aquarium and the relationship between the city, Planet Aqua Group (who operate the facility) and the improvements and scheduled reopening of Sci-Port.

Finally, Her Honor talks with Robert and Erin about the failed attempt to build a new arena at downtown's Cross Bayou and her goals and plans for Shreveport in 2018.
