Shreveport Mayor Ollie Tyler and City Attorney William Bradford talk to 101.7 / 710 KEEL's Robert J Wright and Erin McCarty about the details of the proposed $100 million sports arena in the city's Cross Bayou area.

The Mayor tells KEEL listeners about the city partnering with Birmingham developer, Corporate Realty. Tyler and Bradford also talk about the details of the proposal, including who will own the riverfront property if the arena plan moves forward and will the city be responsible for any debt beyond the $30 million initially promised.

The Shreveport City Council voted 5-2 on Tuesday to move forward with the Tyler proposal. The council's final vote to give it's imprimatur to the $30 million bond proposal at its meeting on September 12.
