Man Turns Himself In For Stabbing His Stepson

A man wanted by authorities for allegedly stabbing his stepson last week surrendered to investigators this afternoon.Detectives are booking 39 year old Juan Thomas into the Shreveport City Jail at this hour on an outstanding arrest warrant charging him with one count of aggravated battery after he turned himself in at the Shreveport Police Complex today.  Thomas is accused of stabbing 19 year old Larry Mack last week in the 400 block of North Allen Avenue during what has been described as family dispute. Mack suffered serious injuries as a result of the attack. Thomas’ bond has been set at $50,000.
