LSU Loses Tough Fight on the Road at Alabama
The 19th ranked LSU Tigers lose a hard fought battle on the road at Alabama. The Bayou Bengals made it a contest but end up on the losing side in a 24-10 game.
LSU is now 6-3 and 3-2 in SEC play. The Tigers out gained undefeated Alabama 306-299, including 155 yards passing and 151 yards rushing.
One big difference in the game was a a turnover in LSU territory. The Tigers defense took it to the Tide, forcing Bama into six three-and-out drives and coming up with four sacks and seven tackles in the loss. The Tide had six sacks, though LSU's offensive line held pretty strong during the contest.
Running back Derrius Guice caught 5 passes for 29 yards while DJ Chark grabbed 3 for 53 yards. Guice also ran for 19 times for 71 yards. A lot of Tiger fans are feeling better about the team after the tough loss on the road. You can check out some of the chat rooms right here.
