LSU Lands In Top Ten In CBS Preseason Poll

College football is a month away and the preseason polls are starting to roll out. For the LSU Tigers, they are already seeing national accolades.

CBS Sports has released their preseason top ten college football teams, and the Tigers landed at #6. Three other SEC teams are on the poll. Alabama is #2, while Georgia is #4, and Florida is #8.

LSU will face Alabama and Florida this year and will face the #9th ranked Texas Longhorns in the second game of the season. LSU's 2019 scheduled is pretty stacked with top 10 teams.

Clemson came in at #1, Alabama #2, Oklahoma at #3, Georgia at #4, and Ohio State at #5.

LSU kicks off the 2019 season at home in Tigers Stadium against Georgia Southern on Saturday, August 31st, 2019. The game will be televised on ESPNU at 6:30pm.
