I am very concerned about the LSU football team this year. 2 of our 4 quarterbacks are moving on. Lowell Narcisse and Justin McMillan have quit the team and will no longer be donning the purple and gold.

This leaves us with Joe Burrow and Myles Brennan. I'm not real confident in either of these guys.  During a recent scrimmage, Burrow, who transferred from Ohio State completed 10 of 24 for 124 yards while the sophomore Myles Brennan was 5 of 19 for 47 yards with an interception. This just won't cut it in the SEC West.

Vegas oddsmakers say LSU could have a tough year. The bookies say the Tigers will be lucky to win 7 games this year. The Bayou Bengals have one of the toughest schedules in the SEC, if not the nation.

We will get visits from both Georgia and Alabama (the two teams in the national championship game from last year).  The Tigers also hit the road to face a tough Auburn team. You have to add Florida to the mix, which is a road game to the Swamp for the Tigers. The season opener is on the road to a neutral site as the Tigers will take on the Miami Hurricanes on September 2nd in Dallas.

Here's the complete schedule for 2018 for the Tigers:

Sept. 2 vs. Miami (Fla.) (in Arlington, Texas)
Sept. 8 Southeastern Louisiana
Sept. 15 at Auburn
Sept. 22 Louisiana Tech
Sept. 29 Ole Miss
Oct. 6 at Florida
Oct. 13 Georgia
Oct. 20 Mississippi State
Oct. 27 Open Date
Nov. 3 Alabama
Nov. 10 at Arkansas
Nov. 17 Rice
Nov. 24 at Texas A&M

My fellow LSU fans will probably be mad at me, but I think the Tigers will only win 6 games this year. I did not think that earlier this summer. I really had high hopes. But with this juggling at the QB position so late in the year, I'm afraid we are in for some trouble.

Here are my predictions:

LSU loses to Miami, Auburn, Florida, Alabama, Georgia and Texas A&M.

The Tigers should beat Southeastern Louisiana, Louisiana Tech, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Arkansas and Rice.
