Louisiana Seafood Cookoff Is Friday – Here Are the Details
SHREVEPORT, LA - OK, I know this is going to rub some people the wrong way. But there are days when my job is simply incredible. I get to do lots of really cool things. This week is an example of my good fortune.
During a recent interview with Lt. Governor Billy Nungesser, I closed the conversation by saying if you ever need someone to judge the Louisiana Seafood Cookoff, give me a holler. Well about a week after that little side comment, I got a call.
How Did I Get Selected?
The folks from the Seafood Cookoff called me and said they were putting their judges panel together and Nungesser suggested I would be a good choice. So I jumped at the chance to be a part of this event.
When and Where Is the Seafood Cookoff?
This event is on Friday, May 31 at Bayou Pointe in Monroe. It is open to the public, but you do have to purchase a ticket. At last check it was a sellout, but you can click here to see if any tickets come available.
