Louisiana DOTD’s ‘Pick the Paint’ Campaign Continues With Purple in the Lead

Friday, March 7th, the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development launched "Pick the Paint," a campaign encouraging the public to select the new paint color for the Jimmie Davis Bridge. And officials say there's still time to get your vote in.

So far, DOTD has received over 2,700 votes, and purple is in the lead, with over 34%. Blue and red are following closely behind. "Pick the Paint" is part of a project to rehabilitate the Jimmie Davis Bridge. The project is scheduled to go to bid this fall.
