Longview ISD To Begin Looking For New Superintendent

Longview ISD will be looking for a new superintendent after current superintendent Dr. James Wilcox announced he will be stepping down by January 2015.

KETK reports Wilcox will stay on board to help the next superintendent transition into the job.

Interviews for the opening will begin this January with hopes of hiring a new leader by mid-2014.

Wilcox joined the district in 2007 from Waxahachie ISD.
