Late Night Shooting In Highland

Police are investigating a shooting that took place just before 10 pm Thursday night in the 100 block of Prospect Street. According to police, a male victim was shot twice in the chest and leg and is suffering from life threatening injuries.

Police say two suspects abandoned their car at the scene and fled on foot. A woman who may have some connection to the car is being held for questioning but is currently not facing any charges.
