State Gaming Control Board Chairman Ronnie Jones talks with 101.7 / 710 KEEL's Robert J Wright and Erin McCarty about the current state of gaming in Shreveport and Bossier City and what might be done to improve the flagging numbers at the area's boats.

Jones tell KEEL listeners that, in his mind, the goal is to save gaming jobs while increasing business, even if that entails moving two of the casinos to other oarts of the state.

And the chairman comments on an Erin McCarty idea of "tax breaks with stipulations" idea for resurrecting ArkLaTex gaming, but also points out that, like with any idea that involves state lawmakers, "the devil is in the details."
